Malaysia - Visit Malaysia 2026 - Postcard 2

This is the second of two different designed postcards by Pos Malaysia for Visit Malaysia 2026 with new stamps issued. This postcard featured the Proboscis Monkey, Orangutan, Malayan Bear, Elephant, Tapir, Tiger, Hornbil, etc which are selected animal postcards that I collect. So it is an all in one animal postcard for my collection.

Thailand - Elephants

I visited Khao Yai National Park, outside Bangkok, Thailand. Bought these elephant themed stamps and cancelled on these postcards at Thailand 2018 World Stamp Exhibition that I attended in November 2018.

Tanzania - Elephants at Serengeti National Park

India - Elephant Ride to Amber Fort, Jaipur

We went up by elephant ride to Amber Fort, Jaipur. Postcard sent through a mailbox outside a small post office near Mapple Hotel in November 2016. Arrived in Penang Island in December 2016.

Zimbabwe - Mana Pools - Elephant - My 10th Postcard

Yippee.. my 10th postcard written stamped from Zimbabwe. Mana Pools is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Great addition to my postcard colelction of Elephants. Thanks to Virva of Zimbabwe.

Wanted: Elephant postcards from native countries

I am collecting both African and Asian elephant postcards of countries that have or used to have wild elephant herds. I am not collecting elephant zoo or circus postcards.

Both Asian and African Elephants are such majestic creatures. If you can mail these Elephant postcards from countries origin and with elephant stamps so much the better. Thanks.

AFRICAN ELEPHANTS - Botswana

A charging African elephant. A reminder that any elephant can be a potentially dangerous animal if provoked or threatened. So be kind to the elephants. Thanks to Howard of Botswana for this second postcard.

AFRICAN ELEPHANTS - Central African Republic

Elephant in a multiview of Central African Republic. Thanks so much to Chris who went to CAR and Cameroun. Postcard was mailed from Bangui, CAR on March 12, 2009 and arrived in Penang, Malaysia on April 2, 2009.

AFRICAN ELEPHANTS - Kenya

Elephant is one of the "Big Five" - the five large safari animals that hunters used to try to kill but now tourists try to see and catch with their camera. They are the elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhinocerous. Thanks to Frans for sending this cool card from Mombasa, Kenya.
