A diplomatic gift from China to Taiwan. Tuan Tuan (M) and Yuan Yuan (F) the giant pandas in Taipei Zoo, Taiwan. "Tuan Yuan" in Chinese means "reunion". Thanks to Kim from Taiwan.

Taiwan - Ping Tung
Hengchun City Walls in Ping Tung, the southern point of Taiwan Island. Nice nature stamps including a panda. Thanks to Choong of Ping Tung.
Taiwan - Taiwan Teddy Bear
This is Jarlin - Taiwanese teddy bear postcard was sent with nice stamps by Shui of Taiwan is for a children project. Next is to take a photo of the local famous scenery with this postcard and email the photo to Shui. The greenery background is that of Daguan Mountain of Taoyuan, Taiwan.
Taiwan - Penghu Island
Under Taiwan boundary are the Penghu (Pescardoes) islands which are in the Taiwan Strait while Green Island, Orchid Island and Turtle Island are in Philippines Sea which is part of Pacific Ocean. Both Kinmen and Matsu Islands are very near Mainland China. Thanks to Andrea for sending both cards to me using beautiful stamps. Kinmen Island.
Taiwan - Sun Moon Lake
The famous and scenice Sun Moon Lake at Nantou County is another popular retreat and tourist destination. Thanks to Jewel for sending this cool postcard.
Taiwan - Yeliu Rocks
I visited this group of bizarre rocks that look like human figures called Yeliu. It is located on the north east of Taipei facing the Pacific Ocean. The waves carved out these magnificent rock monuments and stories and legends soon started describing what these fantastic shapes represent. Thanks to Chen of Taiwan for this nice card. Xie xie.
Taiwan - Kaohsiung
Kaohsiung is the 2nd largest city in Taiwan and is located in the southern side of the island. There is a river called "Jen Ai" (Love River) flowing through the city. It has a major port and airport as the southern gateway to Taiwan. The country of the stamp has now been changed to "Taiwan" from "Republic of China". Thanks to Andrea for this pretty postcard.
Taiwan - Taipei
Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, is a city of the modern and the traditional. Thanks to Masako of Japan for sending this beautiful postcard. The stamp country name is "Republic of China" and postage is 12 New Taipei Dollars.
Taiwan - Map Postcard
Taiwan was called "Ille de Formosa" (Beautiful Island) by the early Portuguese sailors. This is a 1765 map. Thanks to postcard collector Andrea, a European living in Taipei for this nice map card and great stamps.

Taroko National Park is a major tourist destination with natural beautiful, the deep ravine and engineering feat of steep road and tunnel and the aboriginal people of Taiwan. Thanks to Shu-Fen for sending this wonderful card with the stamps of the Year of The Rat.
