Sri Lanka - Postcards of Sirigiya - Longest stamp

Three wonderful postcards of Sirigiya mailed inside an envelope with the world's longest stamp - wow! Sri Lanka has set a new world record for the longest postage stamp, measuring 205 mm (8.1 inches)! Issued on 20 August 2024 in honour of the Sri Dalada Perahera in Kandy, this measurement surpasses the previous record held by the Philippines (200 mm). Thanks to Jean-Pierre of France for these wonderful postcards and the world's longest stamp.

I bought and cancelled this new set of definitive stamps of 9 values - 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 50, 100 baht at Hatyai Post Office, Thailand in 2017. Note that Thailand postal cancellation year is 60 (2560 Buddhist Era) which is 253 years ahead.
