Nepal - Mt. Everest

I have taken a Himalayan Mountain flight to see Mt. Everst at close range. So this postcard of the highest mountain in the world is of great signifcance to me. Thanks so much to "Warper" for sending this extra long postcard with a nice matching stamp that commemorates the Golden Jubilee of the First Ascend of Mt. Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and his Sherpa.

Nepal

Nepal is a beautiful country in the Himalayas between China and India. I flew on a small plane to see Mt. Everest, it was spectacular. There are so many incredible snow capped mountain peaks. This postcard shows Ama Dablam, 6856m viewed from Syangboche, 3720m. Big thank you to Furi Sherpa. He helped the Malaysian expedition to climb up Mt. Everest.
