Dominican Republic - St Estanislao Church
Wow... another nice Domincan Republic postcard of Saint Estanislao Church - Iglesia San Estanislao that is located at Altos de Chavon. Altos de Chavon is a cultural village on a verdant plateau along Chavon River, 100 miles east of Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic. A different nice stamp of boxing. Thanks so much to Mariel who was on a home visit to DR. The card was written on April 11, 2009, postmarked April 21 and arrived in Penang on March 11, 2009 - that is 4 weeks which relative fast compared with other DR cards that I have received.

Dominican Republic - Different Stamp Used
Dominican Republic - Colonial Zone - Santa Domingo - UNESCO
Zona Colonial - Colonial Zone of Santa Domingo, the capital and largest city of over 2 million in Dominican Republic and founded in 1496. The stamp of DR is interesting is that it has a unique serial number and barcode. It was sent on March 12, 2009 but arrived in Penang on May 5, 2009 - taking seven weeks. Better late than never. Thanks so much to Trupti of Canada who was visiting DR.
