Hip hip hooray... this is my 10th written stamped postcard mailed from US Virgin Islands. Iguanas are found everywhere in the US Virgin Islands and this little prehisotric creature can be quite friendly despite its appearance. Blackbeard's Castle or St. Thomas Skytsborg Tower was built in 1679 by the Danes as a watchtower for the harbor of Charlotte Amalie. It is one of 4 National Historic sites in the US Virgin Islands. Thanks to Donna of USA who went on a Caribbean cruise in November 2010.
