Singapore - Chinatown

Singapore city is one large Chinatown. But the old Chinatown is around People's Park and Kereta Air area. There is a Chinatown MRT station and so it is easier to get there now or just take a bus from Raffles City westwards to Chinatown. Nice "Kingfisher" bird stamp. I visited Singapore Philatelic Museum again this August 2012. Bought this postcard of the museum and got a special cancellation of the Museum.

Singapore - Chinese Temple

Majority of Singaporeans are Chinese, the remainder are Malay, Indians, Eurasians and many other nationalities. Thian Hock Keng is one of the oldest Chinese Temples. You can find mosques, Hindu temples and Churches nearby. I sent this postcard on April, 2007 when I visited Singapore.

Singapore - Boat & Clarke Quay

Boat Quay and Clarke Quay are both renovated former river port and storage buildings with a mixture of tradition and modern for wonderful evening dining, entertainment or just a pleasant walk. I sent this postcard during my visit to Singapore in December 2006.
