USA - Arizona Great Horned Owls

Arizona Grey Horned Owls are large birds of prey up to 25 inches tall and do not migrate. Born in late winter, nesting in Saguaor cactus tree, the young are capable of flight at eight weeks and depend on rabiits and mices which are their food staple. Thanks to Carol of Arizona, USA.

Kazakhstan - Almaty Tower - 371m

Almaty Tower is seen on the top left side of the postcard on the slope of Kok Tobe mountain southeast of downtown Almaty. It is the world's tallest free standing tubular steel structure. Thanks to Assel for sending this nice written postcard card, mailed inside an envelope.
