Medina of Fez is the first UNESCO World Heritage site listed in Morocco. Nice stamps used. Thanks to Roberto who was visiting Morocco. Postcard mailed on September 29, 2009 and arrived in Penang on October 24, 2009.
My worldwide collection of postcards written stamped and mailed to me from the country of origin. Trying to get 20 postcards sent from every country. Thank you. Xie xie. Merci. Gracias. Terima kasih.

Most of the cities in Morocco have preserved at least portions of their medieval medinas. The streets in these areas are very narrow, and they are, for practical reasons, substantially carfree, although not always motorcycle-free.The entire medina was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981,with 13,380 historic buildings since enumerated in the course of a thorough GIS survey of the medina.
