EUROPE - Belgium - Panda - Pairi Daizi Zoo

Haohao and Xinghu are the two pandas in Belgium Pairi Daizi zoo. A great addition to my panda zoo postcard colelection around the world.

EUROPE - France - Panda - Beuval Zoo

In 2012, a pair of pandas Yuan Zi and Huan Huan arrived in Beuval Zoo, Saint-Aignan, France. Thanks to Jean-Pierre of France for this wonderful panda postcard from Beuval Zoo. A great addition to my postcard collection of pandas in zoos worldwide.

EUROPE - Netherlands - Pandas - Ouwehands Dierenpark Zoo, Rhenen

The first pair pandas at Ouwehands Dierenpark Zoo, in Rhenen, about 85 km southwest of Amsterdam. Nice postcards with matching panda stamps. Thanks to Mike of Netherlands.

EUROPE - Spain - Panda - Madrid Zoo

Postcard 1
A 3D postcard with dual view of the twin pandas Po and De De born in the Madrid Zoo in 2010 which will be leaving Spain this May 2013 back to China. Thanks to Fabienne of Spain who visited the zoo to get this wonderful postcard. A great addition to my panda postcard collection in zoos worldwide.







Both pandas Hua Zuiba and Bing Xing arrived in Madrid on September 8, 2007. In 1978 China had also presented the King of Spain with two pandas, Shao Shao and Quian Quiang. Received these two nice panda postcards of Madrid Zoo from Jacobs of Belgium - thanks so much.

AMERICAS - USA - California - Panda - San Diego Zoo

I started to collect postcards of giant pandas found in zoos worldwide inside and outside China. The first pandas I saw were in the Washington DC Zoo, in USA. Later, I have seen pandas in the zoos in Hangzhou and Beijing, China.

Here is one of from the famous San Diego Zoo in California, USA. Thanks to Joao of Portugal. San Diego Zoo is currently home to 5 giant pandas - Bai Yun (F), Gao Gao (M), Su Lin (F), Zhen Zhen (F) and Yun Zi (M).

AMERICAS - USA - Georgia - Panda - Atlanta Zoo

Mei Lan was born in September 6. 2006 - the mother panda is Lun Lun at the Atlanta Zoo, USA. As per agreement, all pandas born overseas are sent back to China. April this year, Mei Lan returned home to China. Postmarked May 28, 2010 and arrived in Penang on June 7, 2010. Thanks to Megan of USA.

AMERICAS - USA - Tennessee - Panda - Memphis Zoo

Giant Panda at Memphis Zoo, Tennessee. This complete my collection of panda in zoos for USA zoos, including San Diego Zoo, Atlanta Zoo and Washingtown DC Zoo. Thanks so much to Kat of Tennessee, USA. I also received a second same card from Kat a few days later thanks to a surprise request from Shinta of Indonesia to help in my panda in zoo worldwide collection. So it is a double card, double joy. Thanks so much Shinta.

I saw my first pandas at Washington DC zoo. This is a wonderful panda postcard from the National Zoological Park, Washington, DC. Two Christmas stamps used. Thanks to Michaela of USA. My panda in zoo postcard collection.

OCEANIA - New Zealand - Panda - Auckland Zoo

View of Fei Fei sticking out tongue in Auckland Zoo. In 1988, Auckland Zoo played host to two giant panda bears - Xiao Xiao and Fei Fei. More than 300,000 visitors see the pandas in three months. Postmarked December 20, 2010 using Christmas stamp. Thanks to Jennifer of New Zealand.
