Aruba - LG Smith Boulevard, Orenjestad - My 10th Postcard

Yippee. This is my 10th postcard sent written from Aurba. It shows the night view of Lloyd G. Smith Boulevard in the middle of Oranjestad, Aruba's capital. It is lined with many enjoyable restaurants, shops, cafes and casinos. Postmarked on March 31, 2011 and arrived in Penang on April 19, 2011. Thanks so much to Glenn of Canada.

Aruba - Old Dutch Windmill with Coconut Trees at Oranjestad

Aruba was a Dutch possession in the Caribbean and part of the ABC island chain - Aruba-Bonaire-Curacau. This old windmill was built in Netherlands in 1804 and shipped and reconstructed here in 1960 and now part of a restaurant. Thanks to DAO of UK who was visiting Aruba.

A cruise ship "Jewel of The Seas" of passenger capacity of 2501 of the Royal Cribbean International. Thanks to DAO of UK who went on this cruise ship to Aruba.

Aruba - My first postcard

Aruba is the "A" of the nicknamed "ABC" of Dutch possessions in the West Indies. The "B" is Bonaire and "C" for Curacao. While Bonaire and Curacao are part of Netherland Antilles, Aruba is separate and has her own stamps.
