Angola - Beach View - From Luanda

Happy to receive another postcard mailed from Luanda, Angola. Thanks so much again Gert of Sweden who was visiting Luanda. Looks like there is a third postcard from Angola still in the mail. It was written on November 30, 2023 and arrived in Penang island on February 5, 2024. Took awhile to travel postally but arrived safely.

Greetings from Cocos (Keeling) Island. I arranged for this postcard to be mailed back to me from Cocos (Keeling) Island, postmarked on March 31, 2018, PMC 995-1 on April 7, 2018 and arrived in Penang island on April 20, 2018.

Senegal - Karabane

Karabane or Carabane is an island village in the south west of Senegal. Thanks to Holger of Belgium who visited Senegal.

Antigua and Barbuda - Coconut Tree

A sailing vessel passing Cades Cove, a secluded beach near the village of Old Road on the south shore of Antigua. Postmarked November 19, 2010 and arrived in Penang Island on December 13, 2010. Thanks to Donna of USA for sending from Antigua and Barbuda.


Aruba - Coconut Tree

Aruba was a Dutch possession in the Caribbean and part of the ABC island chain - Aruba-Bonaire-Curacau. This old windmill was built in Netherlands in 1804 and shipped and reconstructed here in 1960 and now part of a restaurant. Thanks to DAO of UK who was visiting Aruba.

Cocos (Keeling) Island in the Indian Ocean is administered by Australia. Received this postcard from there. Both Cocos (Keeling) Island and Australian stamps can be used.

Hope to get another postcard one day with Cocos (Keeling) Island stamp.


Costa Rica - Coconut Tree

Costa Rica in Central America is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the west coast and the Caribbean Sea on the eastern coast. It has become a major tourist destination. Large stamps including a map stamp. Thanks so much to Krislan for sending me this postcard.


Cote D'Ivoire - My first written stamped postcard

Yippee... I received my first postcard sent from Cote D'Ivoire. It was mailed on October 26, 2011 and received in Penang in November 2011. Thanks to Natalia of Cote D'Ivoire.
