Malaysia Maxicard - Joint Issue Malaysia Indonesia August 8, 2011

To commemorate the Joint Issue of Malaysia Indonesia August 8, 2011, I created these maxicards at George Town General Post Office for my collection. Enjoy viewing.

The National Monument of Malaysia and the Malaysia flag is inspired by the Iwo Jiwa monument and US flag. I have added a postcard of National Iwo Jima Memorial in Newington, Connecticut, USA that I have received from Opitz of USA. The original Iwo Jima Memorial is at Arlington, Washington DC, USA.
