The Empire State Building, with 102 storey, on Fifth Avenue and West 34th in mid-town Manhattan was the tallest building in the world for 40 years from 1931 before being surpassed by the World Trade Center of Lower Manhattan. A view of Empire State Building and New York City from the Top of the Rock, the Rockerfeller Building. Thanks to Cottonwood of Idaho who got this postcard from the Top of the Rock.
