This is the new and modern beautiful airport of Bangkok, Thailand with many shops inside the transit area. It became world famous when protestors stopped the airport operation for a few days in November 2008 - stranding hundreds of tourists and international passengers. I mailed this postcard at a postal delivery office at the departure lobby. There is also a post office inside the airport transit area.

I have flown a few times through Suvarnbhumi International Airport, Bangkok. This August 2019, I saw this airport postcard for the first time at souvenir stall at Phra Arthit Pier (N13) to Khao San Road, Bangkok. Went to Bangkok Chinatown Pom Prap post office to cancel and dropped into the mailbox, getting a different cancellation. A great addition to my airport postcard collection worldwide.
