This is the First Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge (Mittaphap) over Mekong River connecting Nongkhai in Thailand with Vientiane - the capital of Laos. Interesting that the traffic keeps left in Thailand but keeps right in Laos. So there is a switch after the bridge. Thanks to Ruth for sending this beautiful bridge postcard on her third business visit to Laos.
Postcard 2 - Malaysia and Singapore
Connecting Malaysia and Singapore - the Causeway is the first link connecting Johor Bahru in Malaysia and Woodlands in Singapore. The train also used to run along this causeway. An older postcard sent from Johor Bahru using the stamp depecting "Gunung Ledang" - a mountain in Johor with legendary tale.
