Vietnam - Hanoi

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam. I visited this wonderful riverside city with strong Chinese, French and Vietnamese influenced architecture. Has many lakes that become a popular backpacker destination.

This is the "Quoc Tu Giam" temple in Hanoi. Vietnam uses Latin alphabet switching from Chinese characters while neighboring Laos and Cambodia uses a script similar to Thai which originated from Indian script. Thanks to WP for this second postcard from Vietnam.
