Suriname - Paramaribo - UNESCO

What a beautiful aerial view of Paramaribo with fine architecture. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Suriname is the former Dutch possession of the Guyanas in South America.

Hi ! The St.Petrus and Paulus Cathedral on the postcard is the highest wooden building in the region.Renovation of this historical building started in 2007, hopefully it will be finished soon, so we can all enter this church again . greetings! may,18th 2009 Cheryll
