Russia - Sergei Possad - UNESCO
The Assumption Cathedral is one of the many beautiful Russian Cathedrals of the Orthodox Russian Christianity which is located in Sergei Possad - a small town outside of Moscow. It is listed as UNESCO WHS. Thanks Lesley for sending me this beautiful card during your tour in Russia.

Russian architecture certainly has a character of its own. This is an intriguing photo--bet the building looked dazzling in full sunlight!!
