Ghana - My first postcard - Elmina Castle - UNESCO

Elmina Castle started as a Portuguese fort, later Dutch, then English trading center. It was a center for ivory, gold and later slaves. Thanks to James for sending this wonderful card from his travels in Ghana.

This is 1 of the 22 unesco sites in the world of portuguese origin. I've just learnt this when i started to collect unesco cards. You're very lucky to have this card.
